It will take a little while to get back to you, but you'll be getting a knife back that is in perfect working order. The wait, although frustrating, will be worth it.
If you make it clear you believe it's a warranty claim and they agree that it is, they've been turning them around pretty quickly. They sent me one back the same week (although they worked a little too fast and missed something, but they worked with me to get it back to them).
