I agree with whatever was said about outsourcing but for me is the design that have the priority when I look at particular knife. I like to see them maid in US but being made somewhere else, under CRKT's supervision won't bother me a lot, I'm after the design.
I guess I've being lucky so far with my CRKTs - no issues with any of them and I'm using them very often, especially the little Heiho. Never had problem with the assist on the Hissatsu, no problem with the lock on the Eraser.
The Otanashy developed microscopic side play and that's it. I have no issues so far with the BT-70 and the Deviation, it's solid as a rock and build like a tank aside from the funky look...
I think they are some how underrated. I think they have the QC straight up already, If they start using little bit better steels they can keep the prices affordable and still have more sales, they have plenty of good designers working with them...
Craytab, that Eraser man, I absolutely love it, but I can't stand the flipper only. If this thing had a stud or wave ( I know, I know...) it wouldn't get out of my pocket... I'm thinking to buy another-one and send it overseas to get a different blade made
