First custom knife build

I was looking to acquire my first custom knife and was referred here by some one who owns a few customs.

I am looking to build a left handed Kwaiken Style flipper. I want to do it with titanium bolster and liner lock. For the scales I am looking to do either Coral or Mammoth (I have pieces picked out, just need to choose between them). I am not yet certain what kind of blade steel I was looking to do but I am open to suggestions/ideas.
