First Custom Knife

I bought mine in 1988 at the Southeast Wildlife Exhibition in Charleston. The knife was made my Sam Cox and I still have it. I think George Herron was there too, but what did I know at the time!!

I first met Mike Snody at a Chesapeake Show sometime in the early '90s, I can remember how impressed I was with his knives and what a nice guy he is. Look at him now!!

Thank you my old friend.
Reading your words forces me to reflect and brings a smile to my face...

Much Respect..

Mike, at some point we are gonna have to talk about me getting a custom version of the knife I carried in Iraq that you designed....

The first custom I purchased was a TK8 direct from Tom Krein. My second custom was a TK2.

My first custom folder was a Devistator by RJ Martin.

My first custom was a gift, it was a Bob Dozier DKTF-1 titanium tab stop folder. The first that I purchased was a Chris Reeve unique graphic large regular sebenza with a spirograph Damascus blade ( sold it three days ago ), if that doesn't count then the Snody Menace Boss 2011 that I'm waiting to receive will be my first true custom that I purchased for myself-I can't wait to get it! And no, I won't ever sell it!

Great thread Mr Snody, great topic

Pretty much fresh off the press - she is showing a little coloration on the blade..and though I love her, all I can think about is more..
