First custom shop piece, a Boss Jack

3 years......

Read the op where it says away from knives for awhile. We lost all contact with him for a bit but kept the knife waiting for the prodigal hog return.
Once contact was reestablished the knife was sharpened, lasered and sent out.

Oh definitely--didn't mean to imply anything negative about the 3 years. Sorry if I did. I didn't really keep on top of it as I knew the wood needed to get stabilized, and I let it slip by, and next thing you know, it's three years later.

I must say it was worth the wait, though. Garth, you did me right with the choice of wood. It's beautiful. And thanks everyone for all the kind words.
 
No worries from me my friend. Just wanted to clarify for a few people who seemed concerned with it. Hope you can make it back to Blade Show in the near future. Would be great to see you again.

OK, now I'm impressed that the Shop sat on it, waiting for the return of the Prodigal Hog. :thumbup:


or maybe they were just always so drunk, that they couldn't remember who they made it for? :eek: :rolleyes:
