• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

:) It's still just 20 layers (1080 & 15N20) but all appears to have welded solid. For my first attempt at damascus on a new forge & press, I'm very happy. Probably won't know if it is worth anything until done but I can see how this could get in your veins. :D:D:D

That's cool as can be, Gary!
You'll lay awake at nights, now, thinking about what you'll be making the next day.
Your life, as you knew it, is over.

Four welds later--320 layers.

For some time I have been badmouthing this extreme winter weather. Whoo! It was sure nice to step outside and cool off. :):)

Quit teasing us Gary!

Knock that scale off, etch it, and let us see what you really have. That is when the excitement begins.

Seriously -- congratulations on your acomplishment. It looks like you are breaking in your new shop right. Keep us posted.

Thanks Brian. I'm going to attempt a pattern for it tomorrow that I have been designing in my head for a while. Hope it turns out.
