It looks a heck of alot better than my first chunk of damascus. Mine was so bad I didn't even bother to make a knife out of it. I keep it on my workbench as a reminder. Keep up the good work!

Great job on the Damascus.
I am puzzled a little by the knife geometry. Why the over sized ricasso with what looks like a finger groove?

I like your honesty. I've done the same thing on a couple early ones.
Nice work.

Now I add the large finger groove choil, making it part of the handle. I can make the handle smaller therefore a smaller knife.
