First damascus knife.

Great looking knife Joe. Now we need to see a big damascus bowie:D. Get that hammer fired up.

The hammer should be up and running this weekend. My post vice is also getting set up to so I will be able to twist stuff without injuring myself too badly.:D

Nice!!! I REALLY like that one.

And thanks for turning me onto another time sucking handle finishing method... just what I need  :p :D

Excited to see the next one Joe! :)

Nice work Joe:thumbup:
If all your 'firsts' are giveaways, give me a shout when you do your first 10" damascus bowie. Especially if it's got a Paul Long sheath with it;)

LMAO.......Actually, once you do the first application of the oil finish which has to soak in, the subsequent steps only take 5 minutes a day or less on something as small as a knife handle (for normal people). The rest of the time is spent waiting for the coat to dry overnight so that you can do the next one. The bad news for you, Nick, is that the directions say that the more finish coats you put on, the deeper the final finish looks and they don't really tell you what a good stopping point would be.:p;)
