This damascus is from Dan Seaver and it was heat treated by Delber Ealy, thanks guys! It is 1084 and 15n20 raindrop pattern. The handles are iron wood and the blade is around 8" OAL. This was the first time using damascus and ironwood. I will never forget to not wear a respirator using this handle material again!. I did the best I could with the etching and learned alot. I really liked using damascus and was very pleased on how the pattern appears "magically". Anyways here it is.

Frank you should be wearing the respirator when ever your grinding anything! I command thee ;) ... please? :D

Daaaang! That's a sweet looking blade!

After everything I've read on here about how bad basically everything knife making is for you. My respirator goes on just about every time I do any work, even hand sanding.

Great looking knife though!!

Very nice. I like the way the damascus and ironwood go together. Have you thought up how you will make the sheath? John

I need to figure that out. It needs to be nice. I have no idea what to make, I will try to figure that out tomorrow

Nice work on the knife! I'm working on my first damascus project now. Hope my results are as good.
