First EDC Bark River!?

I have never had a Bark River that was "perfect". All had slight off grinds, uneven handles, etc. (I've had 7) However I could care less about those things, it a tool, not jewelry. The problem I had with Bark Rivers is that they don't seem to think a four finger grip is important on most of the knives.
Oh, my suggestion is a TUSK. 2.9" blade, 7" overall, great 4 finger contoured handle.

I own 3 bark rivers. All three are great users. One of them is a bravo necker, which is an amazing knife. I find the convex edge they put on these superior to any other grind. I have never needed to use the warranty. Most of what I read for customers who have used the warranty, has been pretty positive. As samhain mentioned, it is not jewelry, it is a tool, and it will perform as good or better than most of its competition. You have to take some of what you read on forums with a grain of salt. Not saying some of the stuff is not true, I cant know for sure. But some people have agendas against some companies. Personally, I dont find the issues in the linked thread to be a big deal, at least not if you plan on using your knife. I would, however, probably have different feelings if I were buying a safe queen.

The Bumblebee seems like a sweet EDC, but I have yet to buy one. It is on my list to buy sooner or later.

I've got a bunch of Bark River knives, various sizes for various purposes.
For EDC, I'd heartily recommend the IMP or the TUSK if you're looking for a short blade. Personally, I find myself carrying my Hedgehog the most, since I favor a more slender/pointy blade.
