First EDC?

Pay no attention to the last little 1/4" of blade, and take a look at Kershaw's Pack Rat. A Ken Onion design, 14C28N steel (proprietary to Kershaw), SpeedSafe assisted, and a great feeling G-10 handle.

It's a very overlooked knife.

Oh, and $ 45 to $ 55 depending on where you look.

I took a look at most of the knives recommended in the topic and settled on the Harsey Lone Wolf T1. Choice was pretty tough, but found one for sale in the forum for a great price, and has positive reviews and a lifetime warranty.

I'll post some photos and a review once I get it. Thanks everyone!

NICE.

did you get g10 or rosewood?

BM mini griptilian. Best intro EDC there is IMHO. You can look a Cabelas and get a D2 version for a little more $.

G10. Never been a fan of darker colored woods, but the rosewood looked nice too.

I got a good price and like I said I think I made the right call.

oh definately. do enjoy it! g10 is pretty awesome, and Im more of a figured wood guy myself D:

There are four knives that I think you should look at and handle.

Kershaw OD-1
Kershaw PackRat
Benchmade Griptilian
Spyderco Caly3

I have all of them and they are outstanding examples of well made and engineered knives. I would be willing to lay odds that your final choice will be among those four.

Why is there always someone(s) who dont bother to read the thread and then post suggestions after the topic starter already ordered a knife?

2 in this thread alone.

Why are there always people who feel it necessary to correct others? Trying to impress the masses with one's acumen perhaps?
