Commies - Its never really about "the people" - its about power consolidation and iron rule - for the betterment of a few. The Party becomes the new religion ....... everyone else is dispensable and discussion is never allowed. Sacrifices must be made in the never ending "revolution"!

You may be right time, will tell, But also it might be the first democratic communist country with a royal family in the world though?

Actualy your description also fits how the Royals have used Nepal as well.;)

its a hard country thats had a lot of misuse for a long time, But it has some wonderfull people in it.

In this case I'm not worried about Communists in general (Nepal has plenty of Communist Parties), but the Maoists in particular. The results aren't all in yet - though the Maoists are still (unexpectedly) ahead at this point. I don't know what the Maoists would be like as elected officials.

But their tactics to this point have been rather unsavoury. E.g., Maoists still "recruit" children, Maoists torture wife of ex-comrade

Of course, to be fair, the army doesn't have a perfect record either (How Maina was killed)
