Not to sound like a broken record but...

It's an Izula, and I LOVE IT! (I've got a couple more ESEE's on order now)

I've been lurking this forum for a while and now I'm entering the fray. This is one of the most informative and friendly online communities I have come across, so keep it up to all involved.

Big thanks to R.A.T. and the others for keeping so involved with the end user community. If you guys ever get that folder line going I don't think I'll ever need any other knives. ;)

Thanks again and I'll be around,
Mark

Marklar, might as well start saving your nickels & dimes now because the addiction is just starting, & you won't be able to say no . . . :D
Welcome to the forum, a great bunch of guys here with a ton of information and most will answer any questions you have about knives or bushcraft. Enjoy your new "toys" . . .
Be safe.

I already haven't been able to say no..... got a 4 and a 6 on the way and I'm eyeballing the new LS pretty closely.. I intend to pick up a junglas sometime this spring if the others work out, and I'm sure they will.

the 4 is a really nice knife but don't forget about the 3 it's the best multi use knife i own.

Don't worry, I'm sure that I'll come up with excuses to own one of each eventually. Just seemed like a good jump, with an izula, 4, and a 6, I think I can handle most wilderness tasks. Im planning a Lake Superior trip sometime around the beginning of March so that is going to be my testing ground.

I'll put good money down that your next ESEE will be a 3

Of all the ESEE's I own, I'm always reachin for that 3 more times than not :D

EDC, utility...it's just the perfect knife for most everyday tasks!!!

I agree. I think a lot of people overlook it since most people tend to like the bigger knives. The 3 is slimmer, easier to carry and legal to conceal in my state. I can throw it in the sheath and put it in my front jeans pocket and it doesn't bother me.

The 3 is a great step between the Izula and the 4.

Yep, the Izula is a hell of a gateway drug. I started with an Izula too and now I have my 6th ESEE on the way.

Yep, it is a great knife and cheap enough to go ahead and purchase on a whim. Once you get it and play around with it, I can see how it would make people want to buy more. Unfortunately, it wasn't around when I got my first knives from ESEE, the rc-3mil and rc-4.

Yeah, I grabbed the Izula at a good price just to test out the quality levels everyone raves about. The 3 is on my to do list for sure, but I went straight to the 4 because it was more of a difference in size and I wanted a few blades that were farther apart for starters. The quality levels out of ESEE seem unbeatable by all accounts so far. I'm also a big fan of Made in the USA whenever possible and the warranty can't be beat so screw it, I'm all in. I can also say that hearing the news about the ESEE folder project possibly going back to Rowen put a smile on my face, even if it means a delay.

Believe it or not, I just started carrying an Izula full time myself. I got one back for warranty replacement becasue the tip was depressed slightly so I started carrying it. I put a convex edge on it this morning. Now I see why we've sold 18k of these things.

Welcome, Neighbor!

Now let's see some pix (pix are required when you get a new ESEE -- it's in the rules I'm pretty sure). . . .

Lol, "PICS OR IT DIDNT HAPPEN" I believe is the usual response on most forums. I'm off to work now so no pics right now. If you must know, picture an OD Izula with the micarta handle kit and a homemade od/tan paracord lanyard. It's quite striking....

Jeff, I hope you sell 18k more. Its just a great little tool.

I have to admit that I am an adict myself with the ESEE knives.

My first was a 4 then that was all she wrote. Got a 3 then a 6 then an Izula then my 12 yr old Daughter wanted an Izula and my 16 yr old stepson wanted one so we got him a 3.

I love the knives and use them all the time. In the woods, in the kitchen, EDC. They are wonderful tools.

Well, just know that if you already own an Izula you're really going to like what we have coming out for the Izula within the next 3 or 4 months. Finsihing up the engineering on it now.

Other than the scales and clip plate? This I gotta see! :)

Izula's truly are amazing little knives. Easily adaptable to a myriad of sheathing and carry options, wicked edge and strength for their small size, infinitely customizable due to color options and handle wrap, and backed by the outstanding ESEE warranty and Rowen's first class steel and heat treat. I snagged an orange one for my self and a pink one for my girlfriend, and I'm already itching to snag a few more for gifts and enough paracord to wrap each a dozen times over in a dozen different colors. Addictive little buggers.

And then Jeff says something like this and you wait to spend even more money!
