So everyone has been wanting me to start including sheaths with my blades and I finally got around to learning the steps! Andy Roy at Fiddleback Fiddleback Forge taught me what he knows. It’s got his signature hammer mark pattern on the front of the sheath that gives it a really neat texture.

This will hopefully be the first of many so I wanted to show yall and tell me what you think! I know it’s not the best looking sheath ever but I don’t think it’s half bad considering I’ve never dabbled in leather working before 😅

I'd say, for your first crack at it, that it turned out pretty good.
One thing that I personally prefer, with my work at least, is to have as few hard angles as possible. An edge bevel cutter is indispensable in my shop- are you using one?

I have one but I have not used it yet. I’ll try it out!
