I have made Many Stock removal knives with a full tang.
This forged hidden tang is a first from my new forge. [Darren Ellis 8" horizontal]
I used 1070 steel
416 ss guard
Ivory and spacers
Stabalized Bubbinga
It has a 4 3/4' blade and a 4 1/4 handle
This is also a First Satin finish. I need to inprove on this.
If you have any questions please ASK!!! I am a NUBEY at this method and I will give you my Opinion for a answer!!!
Thanks Dave

This is my Wife's 2 cents.
It's been a while since I've had to take any knife pictures. I tried to make this one look REALLY BIG. I quess I should have gotten down on a horizontal plane. There's a lot of "pinging" and a lot of sweating going on out in the garage these days. This is one determined guy! This knife is his knife. I'm going to wait until after he takes that class in Arkansas for my knife.:)

That is gorgeous, Dave! The handle shape and the wood/spacer combo really work together, and the single mosaic pin just kind of completes it. Nice!

Very nice Dave, looks like you are really taking to that forge!

your first from a forge, wow i really like it,cant wait to be able to post one of my own(gotta get or make me a forge)

Thanks Guys,
Just a note This knife was the only one worth completing out of 3.
Lessons were a big help.
Mace also had some points for me at the last Hammerin.
Plus making stock removal blades for a 5 years added to the end results.

Its fantastic!!! You're work is outstanding!
