First Folder Design

Thanks guys, it's all great advice, exactly what I was hoping for. I'm glad I posted before making any chips. :thumbup:

I've gotta dig through the box of torx wrenches at work. We have a thousand of the things in every little size known to man from insert/tooling holders. Got my hardware yesterday and my set doesn't go small enough.
 
John, you may try to make one out of g10 if you have some laying around.
That always saves me some steel and titanium.
 
This first will be stainless liners, so not too expensive. I'm hoping by taking the time to model and take advise here that while maybe not perfect my first prototype will be pretty good/usable. Once I'm more comfortable with the designing I'll start buying some premium materials.
