I just finished this folder up yesterday. It was my first attempt at folders, but it won't be my last. ;) I want to say a big THANK YOU to Ray Rogers and Jason Howell for taking the time to make and share two wonderful folder tutorials. I would still be scratching my head and wondering what to do next if it wasn't for those. Thanks Guys.
OAL 7 3/4", blade 3 3/8", closed 4 3/8". The blade steel is a one of a kind mosaic, that I made by stacking and welding left over accordian cut pieces from other mosaic billets. The Bolsters and back strap are from a low layered reverse twist. The wood is Thuya. The action and lock on this folder is as tight as a plug in a jug.

Thanks for lookin,

Bill

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!

I sure hope this doesnt mean the end of the fixed blades and hawks Bill. Absolutely stunning. You sure didnt bother doing a plain-jane for a first one.

Bill, great looking folder, you done good!!!!!!!!!!

My first folder looked nothing like that  It almost didn't even look like a knife.

Very nice! The backspacer really is a nice touch. The bolster looks really good with those handle scales too!

Bad a** Bill! Looks beautiful...... I like the back of the handlle. Nice wood too ;)

Bill, I knew you were up to no good....... Looks to me like you been making them right along but I believe you. Thats a sweet looking knife! How about a folding tomahawk? Your one talented fellow!

Looks like an excellent success on the first try, my friend! Well done.

Hey Bill,

Since this is your first folder there must be a lot of things wrong with it, right?
Damned if I can see them , though!

Absolutley SWEET!
