 That is 5 star crafstmanship Grasshoppa! Is that a keeper? It would be hard for me to part company with a beauty like that !

thanks man. its for my father. a late christmas present.
though he showed it to a buddy who is a collector, he tried to buy it off him.
no go on that. he'll have to wait for number 2

That's great Mike. Design, materials, workmanship, I like the whole thing. Hope to get to fondle it some day :)

one word. bravo. That is a work of art mike, be very proud of that.

Greg

PS you ever end up getting those bluing salts?

oooh yeah....SEXY!:D

Great work Mike!

Mike,
Very very nice. Filework is nice and clean and looks perfectly matched, as far as I can tell, side to side. GREAT attention to detail! What color are you shooting for in your anodizing of the liners?
Also on a side note, did you ever get the handles done on the knife that started all the commotion with epoxies a while back? How's it holdin up?
Matt Doyle

Wowzie, Michael!

It's strange you waited all these years to start on folders. Great knife. I really like it.:D

thanks guys

Matt: i got it all done everything looked perfect. i also did on almost exact but smaller with stabilized burl.... everything was great for weeks, then the buffalo horn curled, not the maple though and its been through all the same temperature changes so i blame this one on the buffalo.
when i get drive to work on it again, i'm going to see if the guy will go with something else for material
i was thinking of maybe blue for the liners... but gold could be nice too

thanks guys i appreciate the compliments. i'll keep posting the new ones once i get started on em

check out GeorgeDailey.com
he's the guy who tutored me on how to put it together. one hell of a maker
i'm lucky to have someone so skilled in the area to learn from, not all of us have that luxury
