A very practical looking knife at a great price! Nice to see you here.

May I ask who does your heat treat, and how you determined the RC?

I am guessing the blade length is about 4.5" tip to handle?

I do some of my own heat treating but mostly I get it done in Toronto by a company that has lots of experience with knives. this piece was done by the pros. I get my hardness checked and double checked at a couple local shops with rockwell checkers. I pick my Rc by experince. lots of broken and dulled knives have been destroied in an attempt to made some serious hardware.

thanks for looking, more to come

Jimi,
I am broke at the moment but have an excellent condition Emerson Commander Green scales- only fly is the clip screws appear to be stripped & I haven't sent it back for repair yet.
Thanks,

Great looking knife, and your testing protocol sounds great as well.

I really enjoy Knife testing. I have done some just plain mean things to knives in order to make sure that they will last and preform. Standard test for every knife I make are a 6 feet drop onthe tip to concrete, flex tip ina vise and I cut up just about everything I can find. I use knives. I hate knives that fail when needed.

Thanks for lookin

That is very nice. I think the size is about perfect for me. The price is awesome. If only the new FJ Cruiser ain't coming out in a year or so. I could think of worse problems to have though ;)

Jwade,

Whats the turnaround time on this one, once the order is placed?

You have another that has my attention, the variation.

Thanks for your time

I just noticed that you are in Toronto,

I guess I`m wondering about shipping. When you reply, please include, if you have it, an example of shipping cost and if you have had any trouble crossing the border with your products,

I have not made any "international" purchases, but have heard some real horror stories

Thanks for your time

Turn around time is about 8-10 weeks. I don't think shipping will be a problem
Customs aren't as bad as you hear.

thanks

Wow thats great for you,

really sucks for an impatient guy like me. :(

I am trying to free up some cash, hopefully soon, I really like the variation.

If you ever end up with one of the others, readily available(for whatever reason) feel free to shoot me an email

I really like the simplistic/functional design of your knives

Nothin but the best for your business
