My first post here!

My first forged blade finished! I forged this at the ABS Intro course at Haywood CC in Clyde NC.

MS instructors were Greg Neely & Burt Foster

10 3/4 OAL, Mild steel guard, stained curly maple coffin handle with silver wire inlay and scrimmed Whitetail antler.

Filework, silver wire inlay, I'm impressed!
An excellent first effort and very fitting for a maker from Maryland.
And welcome to Blade Forums sir.

Steve, your hanging out in a tough neighborhood boy.:D

Very nice work indeed. It may be your first forged piece, but it sure doesn't look to be your first knife.

I can see a lot of Moran's influences on this one. Very good Sir. Kudos to you.

Looks good Steve. Where in MD are you? We've got several makers in the MD/PA/VA area...
