First Forging Attempt

Finished up my single burner forge a little over a week ago, so I thought I would give it a try.

This one is made from an old Nicholson Mill Bastard file.
I left the file marks and a few "stray" hammer marks in the ricasso area
just to remind me to be more careful with the hammer next time.

OAL 10 1/4"
Blade 5 3/8" Tip to Bolster
Clay Coated Heat Treat
Dyed Maple Handle
Stainless Bolster and Pin
