Besides a prototype and a few failures this is my first full on knife build that I have completed. I like to have them heat treated in batches so I'll probably finish knives in groups of ten or so.
Its 1/8 inch 1095 hardened to 58 HRC by Peter's Heat Treat. The blade is 3 1/4 inches and the knife is 7 1/2 inches overall. Handles are black brown and green G10 and the blade is satin finished but is taking a patina from daily use. I'm just glad I have something to show for all of the questions I have asked on here. Thanks for all the help, Fadugleman :D.

Not Bad For a stupid 15 year old.

Good work on your first.

Now go use what you learned on this one and apply those lessons it to make your next one better! If you do that on each knife in sucession you will be making some very fine knives before you are old enough to vote.

Make sure you hang on to your first knife so that someday down the road you can look back and see how far you have progressed.

Again congrats on a great first effort.

Very respectable and looks good. The only things I would say that seem to stand out, and keep in mind this is just something to apply to your next knives. The pin placement seems a little out of line in terms of keeping them in a straight line. The other is make sure you put the time in really sanding the blade to "finished". It looks like there are some sanding scratches on the blade, if that's the case make sure you get ALL the scratches out from one grit before moving up to the next one. Other than that it's a great first knife. .

Don't call yourself stupid
Everybody starts inexperienced
And I like your knife, now go and make more :)

I'm really impressed. Whish I would have done something as cool as that when I was 15.

Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing more.
