Because you asked for your "FIRST", we fully realize it won't be your last. Congrats on your first GEC.I appreciate all the input, but I’m a little disappointed that no one has said to just buy them all. That is usually the most common response on any “what knife to buy” thread. Hahaha.
Received my 66 today and I am pleased so far. Haven’t got to use it much yet, but there are a few things of note in my opinion. First thing I noticed was the spey and sheepsfoot blades both have some scratches on them. It appears they are coming into contact with each other. This may be normal just due to packing three blades into a small package, but I didn’t really expect it. It’s not really a concern for me though because this is definitely going to be a user. Second thing I noticed was that the kick and the corner opposite are very sharp on all three blades. Once again, this could be normal. Overall I am pleased and I’m going to carry it a while and see how it goes.
