15 is probably one of the most popular of the bunch. not too big and not too small. fits almost most hands nicely

You should get a 66, it's a do it all knife. A good reason for having three blades is that you can either keep one blade really sharp all the time and use the other two more, or you can use one blade as a "beater" and save the other two from the rough work that degrades the edge faster.

I have three user 66's and I really like them, they never come up short. I also have more 66's in my collection that I don't use.

I will add my agreement to Railsplitter's advice on the #35 Churchill. It will do almost everything that the Possum Skinner will (barring the need for a longer blade) in a smaller package. Same great combo of clip and sheepfoot.

I can understand having difficulty choosing between those three great choices. The number of blades each model has, influenced my choice toward the two blade Possum Skinner "... It has everything you need and nothing you don't." @Railsplitter

I voted the #15 because for the first time in my life I need a smaller knife in my pocket that is unnoticeable. I pulled out this boys knife with the chain on it and unsuccessfully pryed the chain clip out of and chipped the ebony, so I'm gonna use it. But i think it may be the perfect user because i can still clip the Leatherman on my pocket that i cant live without now that i have a farm.
I usually like a bigger knife or a prettier knife but i dont have that luxury now, i actually need a knife that dissappears in my pocket but big enough to use. I never carried a #15 much because i thought it was too small but now i think im gonna use it till its done, (Until i find another 15 i cant live without.) So anyway i recommend the #15.22764.jpeg 22762.jpeg 22760.jpeg [

Also gotta add, the 15 has excellent action and the new run of #66's were very anemic not sure about the earlier runs.

I appreciate all the input, but I’m a little disappointed that no one has said to just buy them all. That is usually the most common response on any “what knife to buy” thread. Hahaha.
Because you asked for your "FIRST", we fully realize it won't be your last. Congrats on your first GEC.

That’s a good first choice, and trust me it won’t be your last .

I have all of those in the poll, and I voted for the 66. It’s just a great all around knife. I would echo what others have said about the 35 Churchill, which can do it all elegantly.

Received my 66 today and I am pleased so far. Haven’t got to use it much yet, but there are a few things of note in my opinion. First thing I noticed was the spey and sheepsfoot blades both have some scratches on them. It appears they are coming into contact with each other. This may be normal just due to packing three blades into a small package, but I didn’t really expect it. It’s not really a concern for me though because this is definitely going to be a user. Second thing I noticed was that the kick and the corner opposite are very sharp on all three blades. Once again, this could be normal. Overall I am pleased and I’m going to carry it a while and see how it goes.

Those are all pretty normal things. If you get a stockman without blade rub consider it a bonus. That being said I have a lot of stockmans that don't rub, just don't count on it. There are ways to open a stockman without rub but it's pointless to do for a using knife.

Blade rub is more common than not on most stockman, I would embrace the scratches so that future scratches don't matter to you once they occur.

My 66 has been in my pocket a lot lately, great knife for almost any EDC scenario.
