First GRAIL landed!!!! And some pictures of last camping trip, as well as my dogs!!!

Thanks guys. I'm really not that bad@$$, this was my first time doing this sort of thing in a snow for fun. And on top of that I failed to spend two nights in the tent, and had to go to the car to warm up. But the only regret I have is not taking our overgrown Pomeranian with us, he would have loved it there.

Is that a real dog?

Yep, they both are real.
Here they are a day old with their mother

Thanks guys.

Just wanted to specify two more things.
This picture was taken at like 1 or 2 o'clock at night

There is no camera manipulation, it was that bright out. It is relatively high altitude, and no light pollution from the city, so the light from the moon and the stars was reflected from the white snow, so you could pretty much see everything even far away.

and this was a regular picnics table the kind you see at most public parks, the one with long benches on both sides of it that you can sit like 8 or 10 people

1 & 2 Thank you sir

3 For now yes, it is much bigger knife then it looks in pictures, it makes BATAC look like an EDC next to it.

Glad I could help you with your grail quest and that you are happy with it! It sure is a big one and felt good in hand. Cute pups too.

Now you just need to score a good sleeping bag! ;) Fun times in the cold country are great under optimal conditions, not so much otherwise.

LOL!! ...Volk, I had a good time reading this post, man! :) Cool pix, great knife, small dog? ;) I'm not a big fan of camping, let alone winter camping, but it looked like you had a good time there, brother! Thanxx for the pix!!

Cool post! You never know what you can endure or how to do it better the next time than going out and doing it! Thanks for the pictures.

Once again thanks Tim, you are top notch guy in my book.
And yes a sleeping bag is a must for optimal conditions.

Jaxx, if you are not a big fan of camping, than I can only find one explanation for your knife collection. You are biochemist who is secretly creating a new virus that will turn people into zombies. I'm on to you mate. And the dog will get bigger then the knife....I guess I'm going to need a bigger knife.

Porcupine, thanks and yeah its true, as they say live and learn. I still had fun so thats the best way to learn as long as I'm concerned.
