Starting off we have a lovely bar of Aldo's 1084 that I've heated up to a toasty 1800 F and bashed with a hammer until pointy
This is my first ever harpoon clip so I thought I would start there
Start working down the edge bevels.
Kinda lookin like a knife now
A quick grind on the flats to see how we did
The bevels came out NICE and STRAIGHT
not bad for my FIRST hollow grind knife ehhh
I'll be running the hollow grinds significantly deeper, this was just a start to get everything lined up.
-----------------------------
All heat treated and brought up to a 600G Belt polish......
dandy
Just so you know, getting the hamon to turn back like this and line up just right is freaking hard. I was dancing around the shop when I saw how well it turned out..
