First Harpoon tip WIP

Starting off we have a lovely bar of Aldo's 1084 that I've heated up to a toasty 1800 F and bashed with a hammer until pointy

This is my first ever harpoon clip so I thought I would start there

Start working down the edge bevels.

A quick grind on the flats to see how we did

The bevels came out NICE and STRAIGHT

not bad for my FIRST hollow grind knife ehhh

I'll be running the hollow grinds significantly deeper, this was just a start to get everything lined up.

Just so you know, getting the hamon to turn back like this and line up just right is freaking hard. I was dancing around the shop when I saw how well it turned out..

I didn't have much time to work on it this weekend but I will be back at it tonight

I'm going to do a blackwood handle and SS double guard.
