First Hawk from a Ball Peen Hammer

This started out as a 10oz ball peen hammer. Forged, ground, heat treated, "aged" and put on a piece of curly maple. I like it

Beautiful piece of work, the finish is very clean and the whole thing looks exceptionally well balanced.

I like that it's pretty basic; the Maple dresses it up a little but it looks like it wouldn't suffer if you used it, have you tossed it around at all?
