First hidden tang, constructive criticism?

good looking knife, your blade finishing looks great, makes me realize I need to do better @ that myself. I can't add any more than the more experienced guys have here (I just made my first stick tang myself), except I do like the extra space in the Jerry Fisk knife between the ricasso and tang, as it looks like you can actually choke up on it and get your finger in there for fine work. Some also slightly round the edges in this area, so it is more comfortable.

Well that ended in disaster
Wgen i made adjustments everything seemed to fight me. All in all i learned alot about the RIGHT way to do this so thats what matters.
I fixed the plunge lines, rounded tge ass end of the spine some and rounded the inside of the guard.
But in doing so there's just too much handle gone and i just dont feel comfortable letting it leave the shop.
Ill finish the handle and give it to the mrs.
Thank you everyone for the extremely helpful knowledge.

The guard/handle transition looks much better, and even though it's shorter I think the handle profile looks good.

Another thing to keep an eye out for is the angle of the plunge line in relation to the angle of the guard face. I'm sure there are some instances where this may not necessarily true, but I think it looks better when they are closer to being parallel with each other, so in this case here it may have looked a bit better with the plunge line being a bit more vertical, as it looks a little off kilter next to the vertical guard in the new picture.

Also, it looks like you may have burned a little part of the edge at the plunge, but I'm sure you know that already... lol sorry, just kinda giving you a hard time there ;)

I'm sure you learned quite a bit on this one and I look forward to seeing how you apply your new insight on your next knives. Keep at it! :)

Not a disaster...you learned something. I learned to use a drawing that i can use as a template to check my progress. If you're just shooting from the hip it's much harder to correct easily avoidable mistakes if you don't have something to check against. A simple drawing is all you need. Check out how Bruce Bump places his project on the drawing at different step of the build to make sure everything is still lining up.

Coldsteel yeah that was a few more things that i noticed. I had to reprofile the blade cause i ground a spot too thin. My wife is excited cause she gets a new knife lol
Busto i really did, despite thr knife itself being a failure, for my first hidden tang im happy with it.
Ive seen nick do that on his builds also, its something ill implement also on the next one. Youve helped me out alot in this i appreciate it. Still waiting on those pics from you though ;):D
