Not that much luck involved in turning out a nice knife. I like it.

What steel did you use and is that walnut burl on the handle?

5/32 01 Tool, Nickel/ Silver Guard & Butt Cap.

A friend dropped off a bunch of scrap wood ... I picked through the pile and found some some Black Walnut with good grain so I used it. I think it turned out OK.
