First high end purchase; CRK Sebenza or Strider SnG????

Congrats!

I'm sure you'll come to enjoy its fine craftsmanship like so many others.

Welcome to the world of Sebenza addiction! One recommendation I can make is to use it and don't be afraid of that first scratch. As a matter of fact use it hard the very first day and get over the first scratch and you will really start to understand why the Sebenza is such a great knife.

tomsch, that's exactly what I intend on doing. ;) IMO, the scratches add character to a knife and of course, once you cut yourself with it(it will happen) you can truly call it 'yours'.

The brown truck just dropped off my Sebbie a short while ago, and for the past hour or so, I've just been here in awe. :D

Being that I have to do some lawn work today, I know that I'm just going to be looking for things to cut.

They are different animals , in dress or bussiness casual clothes I'd go small Sebbie . On a jobsite , the bush , or with wet/cold hands I,m inclined towards the Strider .

Another thing.....

is there a waiting list/time for a Sebbie if I order it straight from CRK?
I don't know about straight from CRK but NGK usually has some in stock.

Strider SnG is a little more difficult to get but they are out there if you look around.

My suggestion is you do like I just did, buy both. :)
