First impression of PM2...I understand the hype

EZ, i love that orange handle thats one i would love to get. I just got my first para2 last week in black/satin and it hasnt left my side yet been using it everyday at work

No, but thanks for rubbing it in. Been looking for a black/camo PM2 for months now with no luck.

If you're willing to pay full MSRP with 9.75 % Tennessee sales tax and shipping I know where several black blade digi camo scaled PM 2s are.

I just bought paramilitary 2 black blade, camo.

I think it's a great knife, the biggest downfall is the compression lock. For me it's not good, my index finger gets a light pinch when I open with the thumb hole. Other than that it is a perfect edc

use your middle finger to flick the spyderhole it opens it fast and fingers are all away from the lock

No knife is for everybody, good thing there are other choices. :)

I'll have to try that, and adjust it, lil to tight for that the way it is.
If anything as long as I keep it in perfect condition, I know I'll be able to get my money back on a resell.

Ain't that the truth! I've had an opportunity to handle several PM2's and they're great knives, no doubt. But they're far too large for me to carry. I'm more of a Southard/Sage 2/Centofante Memory kind-of-guy. :)

I have the blue one in m390. It is a user. I convexed the edge on my belt sander, and have a lowride clip on it.
Great slicer and it carries well for its size, but I also prefer a smaller knife for carry (delica,sage2,small seb)

Same model I'm looking for. May I ask where you just bought it from?

Blade hq, I was on this forum and 9blades, made a announcement that blade hq had paras 2 in stock, the camo black blade sold out quick. I was just in the right place at the right time, with a credit card....

You definitely hit this one right on the head. The para 2 really does deserve the vast amount of praise that gets laid on it. Mine did come quite a bit off-center to the right, which I was able to temporarily fix by loosening the scales up on each side, pressing the blade back to center, and tightening it back down quickly. It has seemed to work it's way back to a bit off-center since. Although slightly disappointing to get a knife you believe will be perfect in every aspect, that minor blemish did nothing to bring down what is an absolutely stunning example of a well thought out, precisely executed EDC folder. I snagged my black/black version from Opticsplanet a month and a half or two back.

In addition, a seller on Amazon does in fact have the Camo/Satin Para 2's in stock...if you are willing to shell out a cost that reflects the current demand for the knife. http://www.amazon.com/Spyderco-Para...VZVI88/ref=aag_m_pw_dp?ie=UTF8&m=APDFWY2TG66R

I got the middle finger flick, and the thumb flick down. I wonder if you can do this with other knives?

Absolutely, it doesn't even need a spydie hole to do it! I love the middle finger flick for my benchmade 300SN
