Could we get a picture of the Perceval in hand?
Could we get a picture of the Perceval in hand?
Hello Brutus013,
Here are 2 pictures of the Perceval in the hand, one closed, and a close-up of the (nicely rounded) liner where you can see that it has a minuscule pin sticking out to briefly stop the blade at 90% - a nice small safety feature.

Perhaps these pics will tempt you to include it for consideration amidst the models you were hesitating between in your "Higher end folder comparisons" thread...![]()
Nice "harvest." This was by far my favorite:
"Perceval "Le Français", liner lock, 12C27 blade, olive wood handle"
thanks for sharing
Wow, I suppose these French folders with their nice wooden handles are meant for EDD (Every Day Dining)![]()

Another picture of the Boker folding hunter with white micarta scales. Here you can see the beautiful brass liners. A very nice classic and sturdy pocket knife. I haven't carried it much yet but that will change. A nice one to add (or one of its wooden-handled cousins) to sample the European approach towards classic backlocking knives. Quite different from a Buck 110 for example.

It seems that in general the Boker "Sky Walker" charmed less people. It is however a nicely made and very light pocket knife. Not as smooth as, say, a Mcusta but pretty nice nevertheless.
