hey guys, got my first knife from john (stomper). the one from this thread:http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=574865 . i cant take pictures because my g/f has the camera across the world in korea for a couple months. but ill do my best if you can excuse my lack of porn :D.

i think the specs are on the other thread too. but its 1/8in o1 steal. 3in blade and 3 1/2 in handle. so its a "small" nessmuk style knife. i drew a sketch and sent it to john who had no problem bringing it to life. i also sent him the scales which i believe he has now bought some to have on hand. i based the dimensions on one of the blades i saw in one of hollowdwellers pictures from a thread many moons ago. anyway i just received it about an hour ago and used it to make my dinner salad and it cuts just about as well as any of my girlfriends henkel's even thought its twice as thick. i havent, and dont really plan to, but it feels sturdy enough to do very light chopping and batoning if i had to. the grinds are nice and even and the balance falls on the first finger as i requested. all in all a great deal and john was very easy to do business with and listened to my requests. cant wait to use it more and post pictures when i get the chance! thanks a ton john and i cant wait to see what you do next!

also thanks to yall fellow members for the suggestions in my post a few months ago about "fast nessmuks". i really enjoy the abundant information available here in this section and the willing and helpful attitudes of the frequent posters. appreciate the mind expansion! -CB
