And my very first custom as well.:)

I read a lot of positive things about Stompers work on the W&SS forum, so I'd pop in this forum from time to time.

When he ran his April special I pulled the trigger and ordered myself a Hiker. :cool:While waiting I'd visit here some more to look at photos of John's work.

Then I noticed his available now thread.

Just got this in on Saturday.

It is 1/8" thick O1 with a blade length of 1 1/2". OAL of 4 1/8". A very compact package.

The knife came arm hair sharp. Fit and finish is excellent, and the Kydex is very tight and secure. Even as it loosens up a bit after use it will remain secure.

I have used this pocket fixed blade for almost every cutting chore around the house.Boxes, clampacks, food packaging, envelopes..etc have all fallen victem to my new pocket scalpel. And I used it just a little bit outside. It is a small, but great, slicer.

(It will do better curls, that was just a quickie for a photo prop)

All in all I am impressed with Stomper's work. My on order Hiker won't be my last JK. I already think I'll need something in the 2"-2 1/2" range to fill the void between this mini-Nessmuck and my BK11.;)

Great shots, I like this even more seeing it from a couple of different angles....plus I'm a sucker for walnut :)

Congratulations on your first JK/ custom knife. You can't beat his blades, top notch all the way.

I liked how that little one felt in my hand. You can put your thumb on the hump for pressure cutting, or index finger for finer work. I need to make another one.

Love it. Great looking knife. I love the little practical knives that give you no reason to leave them behind. John is becoming the master at this type of knife.
