First Kershaw => Kershaw Crave!

The original Random Task. Bought it back in 98 when they first came out.
My son is now the proud owner of it. I have another one a friend gifted me. :thumbup:
 
I am new to this forum and new to knife collecting. I just bought two Kershaw Crowns on sale and decided I would start collecting knives. So the Kershaw Crown is the knife that made me decide to start collecting.

My first was an Amphibian, back in 1990. I have a 2 inch scar on my hip from when one of my fool friends left it unsheathed on the couch (we were 15-16), and I sat next to it and slid over, not knowing it was there.... :eek: Went 3 inches deep, 8 stiches on the inside, 6 on the out.

ouch. that made me cringe man.
 
1431 G-10 Wild Wild Turkey; still have it and still carry it every once in a while (though the blade is a little narrower now from re-sharpening and re-profiling several times over the years). It's the knife that started my Kershaw obsession; one knife turned into 50+ Kershaws (so far!) (and that doesn't include the 10+ other knives of other brands that I have).
 
First Kershaw was the orange Zing 1735OR. And, just a few weeks after that, along with multiple visits to kershawguy's site, I am sitting with 3 Zings (orange, black tanto and ranger green tanto) and 2 skylines (black and orange) with an OD-1 in the mail! Just started looking at knives a month ago, and it is quite addicting.

My first Kershaw was a Vapor I picked up at Walley World, but the one that got me hooked was a S30v Blur. It was all down hill after that.
 
vapor back in 01 that i got in a trade for some pokemon cards lol lost it then got a new one that one was stolen bought a leek form my friend for 12bucks 3 years ago and that basically started the addiction. i now have 7 kershaws 2 bucks 2 esee 1crkt 2bekers and 1 boker
 
My first foray into Kershaw and into quality knife collecting happened this summer, when I bought a Damascus Leek. Boy am I glad I bought it when I did instead of another knife, because it sure is difficult (impossible?) to find them around anymore.


Edit: since then, I have bought a S30V Leek, a Composite Leek, an old Storm II, a Zing, and as of this morning, a blem Skyline and black R.A.M. No matter what other knives I resolve to buy, I always end up buying Kershaw's instead.
 
My first Kershaw was a Vapor II 1650ST from Walmart. But my first real Kershaw was a Boa.
