Somehow I don't think the Sheeples in the world would like it very much. Can you say "Not Politically Correct". I hate that phrase.

True, true...

But at the same time, I think that there are enough nut-cases like us out there that it would actually stand a chance...at least in the underground...:D

This cracks me up - maybe it will make it's way to the shelf with the naughty cartoon books...:D

Here's a few working titles :)

Bruise's Big Book Book of Bent Blades

Color Me Deadly: Weapons you can color!

Chop-By-Numbers -- A khukuri primer

Proper Techniques for Sacrificing Origami Animals to the Gods

Play-Doh Hack-n-Slash Fun Kit!

Home Dismemberment and Scarification Tips - Foreward By Heber E.

Remeber, kids, to use your bright orange safety khuk, and no running with unsheathed khuks.

Ankerson spits his coffee all over the computer screen. :D

Groan....:)

BTW, the title BruiseLee is such a good play on words, I thot about changing my handle to another mock name, something like

Frank Snotra.

Thanks Skeletor, I will print out the info and keep it with Pen's illustrations...very helpful. And along previous lines:

Don't the boy scouts have a merit badge for outdoor khukery?

And I'll bet next to guns Sarah Brady loves knives that have a funny bend in them.

Have fun with the BAS. They are one of the handiest of the khuks. I don't care what the monster lovers say.:)

i spent 2 years growing up in a military school.. and even if you dont learn anything else there, you darn well learn how to make things SHINY! i learned if you take a polishing compound called "Simichrome" and a piece of cardboard and a hella lota elbow greese, you can pretty much take out any blimish outa metal (including rust spots) and leave it with a miror finish.

just put your cardboard on the floor (not carpeted because it gets dirty) put a little Simichrome on top, loom over it .. put hella weight over the object your trying to shine and rub up and down like a mad man untill the desired finish is reached.

it could double as a workout cuz if its bad enough i guarantee you will start sweating :)

Thanks for the tip, Plinker. I'll try it out this weekend. And yes, Pappy I really like this BAS. Just got an 18" AK today and I really like it also. You can make no mistake that it's for serious use.

I going to take both out this weekend to a friend's farm...eat a little Orynx chili and help him prune pecan trees.

New rust sucks, but old rust is called 'patina.'

I always wanted to bury an HI villager in the ground for about a year, then dig it up and clean it off. The corrosion should leave pitting that is consistent with other older blades. this is one process known as "distrssing" a blade, which is a forced and sped up aging process. Just can't being meself to do it tho. Don't have so many khuks I can be burying them in the ground, you know.

By the way, distessing a blade is a process often used by people making forgeries of antiques...

Keith

Dang, you just had to say that, didn't you... so I guess now nobody's gonna pay me $800 for that antique AK by Shanker that I posted on eBay... :grumpy:
