First Knife As A Journeyman Smith

Looks fantastic to me Kyle. I'm sure the customer will be thrilled to receive it.

Pleasure seeing it, Caleb did a good job on the photo.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone!

Kevin,
I can understand what your talking about with the the six bar damascus versus the four bar. The trade off is that it's harder to see the pattern without examining it closely on the six bar though it has more shimmer from the tighter pattern. The four bar is easier to see without quite as much shimmer.

Thanks everyone.

Awesome piece! I love the balance of blade to handle, and the guard looks perfect. I'm not a fan of green, but it is so well done that I know your customer will be ectsatic.

Super job, Kyle! Your handle changes are all positive...more grip for most, more of your terrific work to admire. Should be one happy customer out there.

the detailing between the ivory and the damascus in the handle is great! Looks like an architectural detail.

Another absolutely fabulous knife Kyle!!! all the ideas you have incorporated, one would wish would be the general standard. I have always admired the fighter Kevin had and later sold and of course I love the piece I have. this one ranks right there and Caleb, is now truly a Pro. Looking forward to seeing other knives you create.
