First knife, Bit off more than I can file? Nahhhh

Excellent job!! That's a very nice knife. Beautiful handle and I really like the design. I am still working with hand files and the progress is very slow. If you have problems with sanding the plunges you could try a small round file or chainsaw file to establish the plunge. I find the plunge to look crisp but it is concave instead of straight cut. For me it's not too bad to sand out the scratches. I really like your photos as well. Looking forward to seeing your next project.
