• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

I was browsing the YouTubes and came across some knife making videos and thought to myself, "Those are really neat! I've gotta try that!" So I purchased this particular knife blade/blank (http://knivesandknifemaking.com/pro...rop_point_6_12in_wbrass_guard_bolster_013.php). Went to my local hardwood dealer, picked up some BEAUTIFUL Ipe, drilled some 3/16th holes for new pins and made myself my very first knife. Tell me what y'all think and what you guys think I could do to improve! Thank y'all in advance. (I couldn't find any info regarding the steel in the info on the site other than that it's stainless. I assume It's either 420C or 440C due to it's magnetism which i read only the 400 series is magnetic)

Nice work on mounting and shaping the handle! The next step is making the blade...:D

You might get more feedback if you post this in the Knifemaker's section of the forums. Perhaps if you ask a moderator nicely they'll move it over there for you.

Clean work!
