My first knife from CRK:

Very happy with the knife. Picked it up for $220 shipped and insured.

My first impression was being amazed at how light it felt. I was expecting something much heavier.
My next impression was how perfect it was. We've all bought new toys and upon close inspection seen a flaw or two. The blade is flawless, the coating is perfectly even, the handle and screws fit seamlessly plus the edge is uniform under a 3x magnifying glass. The quality control aspect is certainly evident at CRK.
The edge on the blade is plenty sharp. You need to pay close attention when handling it.
I was worried that the 7" blade would seem too big or top heavy but it balances well. I am glad I got it instead of the 5.5" blade.
I am actually kicking myself for not buying 2 at the price I paid. One to throw in the safe and one to punish.
It is a 2 thumbs up purchase for me.

BrainOnSigs, welcome to Bladeforums!

I got a red X instead of a picture, but it doesn't matter. Whichever CRK you got, you got a great deal. And you don't need one in the safe. When your working knife gets all scarred up, you can send it in for refurbishing.

I've got two large and one small Sebenzas, an Umfaan, a Mnandi, and a 4", 5.5", and 12.5" Sable. It's not over yet! Perfection is addictive. :D

Glad you like your CRK. I don't imagine it will be long before you get another one, and then another one.

David

The only 7 incher they got is the Green Beret...
I have both the 7 incher and the 5.5 incher. both very nice!
