first knife meets first turkey

finally got my first turkey today! and the only thing that makes that better is cleaning it with my first knife! reminds you how a good knife is supposed to work
 
nice man. congrats. i cant wait to fillet my next fish with my new fillet knife im just finishing up. how long was the beard on that turkey? or was it a hen?

My first knife has been around awhile. Just have never had a good reason to use it.....this seemed fitting

Nothing brings a bigger smile to my mug than using tools I've made myself :thumbup: Especially my Knives. It can get goofy though. Always looking at it in a R & D sort of way. Went camping yesterday and I found myself setting blocks of wood to the side too, I couldn't burn it. :) It was asome nice Spalted Maple that I kept seeing a knife handle in. Yeah, we need a pic or two. How long a beard ?? How heavy ?? Congrats on the first gobbler :thumbup:
