First knife of 2009! CPM154, maple and teak burl

Man, my camera is giving me fits for sure. yea the pic sucks but I wanted to get one up for the new year before somebody else does. CPM154, 3" blade .093 stock, maple burl up front, .020 brass spacer at 45deg, teak burl. Blade hand sanded to 2000, gray spacer between scales. I am still working on the pics, wait till you see the sheath! I nailed it. I will post more as I get them figgered out.

And... THE SHEATH!!! I totally nailed the sunburst pattern for sure. My tooling sucks right now, but hey this is only knife #8 so cut me some slack!!

Great package.... so where's the bottle opener? :p

Personally I'm full as a big tick and couldn't possibly do too much in the shop. I drilled some holes and ht'd a blade and clayed up another but that's it, I'm on the couch.
 
Bottle opener? Why do you think I asked for the blank with the steel put back in the ricasso area?:D:thumbup: The bottle opener will come to life this year. I need to check with FOD about getting some scales made.

That's what happens when teams do not adopt the west coast style of play... you get teams up there with nothing but big 6'8" seal meat eating eskimos that cant shoot the puck to be worth a damn...:D

Damn, looks like Cigarman beat me by 8 min. I would have had it if I was not messin with my camera for 30min! Ugh.
