  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

First knife of 2020

I always thought the mini trapper would be perfect if it had a wharncliffe or sheepsfoot instead of a spey. I love the blade combination on this 92.
Well, you're in luck. Case does make the mini trapper in both a single blade wharncliffe, and a two blade, clip/wharncliffe. It's a nice knife, but I like the 92 better.

Thank you, Bruce, and congrats on the #66. I have a few of them, and they're great little knives. Knowing your enjoyment of Case's #18 pattern, I thing you should really like the Calf Roper.

Well, it finally arrived...

Here is my first knife for 2020... an old Empire no. 372 electricians knife, likely c.1920

Very nice! It appears there is some sort of locking mechanism that keeps the screwdriver blade locked until you push down on the main blade? Then it locks in the open position? How cool is that?

315, the Buck 102 looks real good in a flat grind - nice!
V-P, very nice old Empire - they sure knew how to class up a working knife didn't they?
