First knife of the New Year! (Traditional)

Good afternoon everyone!

Thought I would share the first knife of the New Year. My first GEC and the first traditional I've acquired in quite some time. This is a very generous gift from Jeff (rockgolfer), a fellow Porch denizen. This is a knife that I already cherish and carry with me daily. The #53 has proven to be a fantastic size, and it sports a beautiful heft and balance. I have already fallen in love with the sheepsfoot blade and I use it for just about everything, though the clip has proven to be an exceptional slicer.

I love this knife and am so impressed with Jeff's gift. He has exemplified why this place is such a great place to hang out. Thank you, Jeff, this knife is a wonderful treasure.

First of the year came from Finland, courtesy Mr Will A splendid swell center moose from Queen, aka BF knife 2010. Rich dark ebony is a beauty.

We're getting about 12" of snow today so my mail carrier decided not to deliver today. Whatever happened to the US Postal Service creed? You know; neither rain, nor snow, nor sleet or hail.........blah, blah, blah.
I made a trade with Crazy Canuck Mike and it was to be delivered today. I guess it'll be Monday now.
