First Knife Rebuild

I acquired two buck knives that hat been abused and misused to the point that there were no handles, the spine was used as a place the meet a metal hammer and the edge was used for prying. I thought that I would try to straighten out the edge with a brass rod, sand the spine to remove the marks and make a new handle. I've enclosed the pictures of before and after, and I'm really impressed with what I did. I don't think that I would even attempted to do any of this if it were not for this forum. Thanks guys. It really gives you a great feeling when it works out alright.:o

Wow that's nice! Nice second life for a classic knife. :thumbup:

edit: sometimes you can find genuine NOS Buck sheaths online for cheap.
