First Knife

Hi all

I really need some help. I am making my first. Blade is looking good, I am using 5mm stainless steel. I want to use to sheets of stainless steel for the handle, but I am struggling to find our what is the best method to bind/attach the the handle(s) to the blade. Ant suggestions will help. THANKS!!!!!!

my first guess would be to drill holes through all the layers and the steel so that they match up. use some strong epoxy and some pins.

i would say rough up the mating surfaces...and you might try hollow grinding the mating flats...just in the middle so that it increases the surface area for the epoxy.
