first knife

I used an old bastard file that was laying around,and just started on it today.

it is looking a little shanty and I do not know what to do now.

any tips and constructive critisims?

The shape looks very good. You might consider bringing up your bevels a bit more. The angle looks a bit steep unless the blade is very thin.

What are you going to use for handles?

for the handle I really want micarta, but at the current state Im probably going to have to use wood.

the whole purpose of making the knife is becuase I like to do bushcratf but I dont have the funds to buy one
 
I agree, bring the bevels up more to thin out the blade...
I know that the Ray Mears / bushcraft / mora style is that way, but thinner cuts better.

Drill another front pin hole the the same level as the rear one is - higher .
drill some additional holes in the handle to allow for better epoxy grab
