First knife

My Dad gave me my first knife, he bought it at a drug store in Jacksonville Florida...it had pearl handles and two blades, I'm not sure what brand it was.
Yes I did cut my self with it and my mother was very upset with my Dad...Thanks to my Dad for starting my love for Knives.

My dad gave me a Schrade Old Timer when I was like 14...which I lost, because at the time I had no respect for knives :/
 
My first knife was a Camillus Cub Scout knife.

I believe I started Cub Scouts in 3rd grade, so I was about 8. As a matter of fact, I may have joined Cub Scouts just so I would have a reason to get that knife!

39 years later and I still have the knife and still drop it in my pocket and carry it every now and then.

I was 7yo and my father gave me a Boy Scout Jackknife. Had it for years...I have no idea what happened to it. About the same time I picked up a little pearl handled Queen 2blade slipjoint with carbon steel blades. This too was around for a long time but I have no idea where it went either. My early teens this stuff went by the wayside. I wish I had been more careful.

I do, however, have my first rifle/shotgun, hehe.
 
Heck I dunno. Think I was 5-6 and the knife was either an old Schrade I had around then or a Barlow. Forget which I got first. Now I'm nearly 45 and can count on one hand the number of full days I've been without at least one knife on me.
 
my dad gave me an imperial schrade when on a 2 week elk hunting trip. gave the knife to a girl i was sweet on. i wish i hadn't.
 
I bought a STAINLESS CHINA black anodized 'tactical' folder when i was like 13 or something.

I don't know why, but i broke it in half behind the pivot with my bare hands not a week ago, just because i could.
 
A beautiful custom knife with Brusletto blade and silver sheath with engravings.
Got it when i was born acctually.
So ive acctually had knives my entire life. Didnt get to use it until i was 4 though
