Hi,

We are two metal designers living and working in Gothenburg, Sweden. Below you can see the first knives to come out of our workshop. These knives aren´t perfect but we think they look good and we want to offer them for sale to you at prices we hope are reasonable.

We´ll just post a few thumbnails here of five different knives and if you want you can see and read more at: www.knivesofsweden.com

These knives form a series we call Woods which is built around a nature theme. The steel is hollow ground and hand rubbed O1 from Uddeholm and the handle material is high gloss finished Alder root. The bronze fittings are built from individual pieces of bark and branches. These where tailored to match the knives and then cast in bronze with traditional centrifugal casting.

Just contact us if you are interested and we will get back to you as quick as possible, our e-mail is: knivesofsweden@live.com

Ok, here are some knives:

For this Dagger we wanted to use the classic guard shape in conjuction with our nature theme
and so used a fine woodbranch as the model to form the bronze guard and small planks to form the bronze spacer.

Blade length≈ 15cm or 6"
Total length≈ 27,5cm or 11"

First off, welcome to the forum!!!

Secondly, those look like some very finely crafted blades!

Looking forward to seeing more of your work as time goes on.

very nice and almost Viking like. Best of luck, you will do well with those designs.

Those are awesome. I wish there were some more close ups of the blade and handles. I think you will do very well here on the forum.

A little more illumination on those handles would help, but from what I see, they are beautiful knives.

I would like to see larger, brighter pictures. I like what I see but I'd like a little better/closer look!

If these are your first knives you've blown the curve for other beginning knifemakers!:D Beautiful work, and I can't wait to see what other knives the two of you create in the future!

Gentleman and gentlewoman :-) The makers are on their website.

Very nice knives and handles. Could you post detailed pictures of the blade and edge.

Hi everyone, thank you for making us feel welcome!

And thank you all for looking. It´s really exiting to show the knives to you and we are glad you seem to like the knives. We are very grateful for your feedback on the photos and we will try to improve this as soon as we can.

Cheers,
Adisa & Joel
