Well, the first I'm willing to put up pics of:D

All are O1, the small ones 1/8", the large one 3/16", Double quenched, triple tempered. Fit and finish is right on par with cheap pakistani flea-market discount knives:eek: , but I'm learning!

Sorry about the pics, that's another skill I need to work on!

Also, a big THANK-You to you all for all the info here in shoptalk. I've learned a lot here and gotten some good advice. The few knives I started before I found this website were, well, crap. At least these I'm willing to show off.

Thanks,

Walter

Thanks, guys. I appreciate the kind words. A couple of these are going to friends, the rest are getting beat up. I tried to get a lot of variety in blade shapes for practice, but keeping everything straight on a 1x42 grinder is a pain. I'm forging 4 more, but I think I'll stick with smaller stuff until I get a bigger grinder.

Nice job! I think someday I'll might be buying from you! You've got a great start, keep us posted :)

Cool stuff...good work.. I am busy with my very first knife which is going to take a few months.. will post some pics when im done

Yeah, that big one looks like a great family/group camping "kitchen" (meaning everything from chopping &feathering kindling to dicing onions to whacking catfish heads) knife.

Definitely closer to what I'd like to pack as a one-knife-does-it-all family car camping kitchen knife than what I've got.

The blade drop is fantastic.
