Alright, it's time this hobby of mine started to pay for itself;) My first offering here on BF, I've got a couple of camp knives ready to go. Both are convex ground 1/4" 1075, taken down to a fairly thin edge.

The clip point is 10 3/4" long, 5 7/8" tip to micarta, with thin black canvas micarta scales and an satin finish.SPF

The drop point is just under 12 1/4", 6 7/8" tip to micarta, with thick, contoured green canvas micarta scales and an etched finish to show the hamon.SPF

Neither of these are perfect:o. Both have light scratches on the finish, and I have a hard time contouring the butts of the handles well. They will make great users, knives you won't mind getting dirty, but they aren't collectors pieces by any means:D

I have not made sheaths yet for either of these-mostly because my leatherworking is horrendous. I can and will make an (ugly) pouch style sheath for them for an extra $25, or you can take either knife itself for a flat $100 even, shipping and paypal included. Just post an "I'll take it" here. Sorry, paypal only on these as I'd like to get them shipped before I head out to work on Wednesday. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me here or email me at walterdavis15(at)msn.com

Thanks,

Walter Davis

nice knives!

they shouldn't last long that 1075/1080 is some tuff stuff. I like the black one.

They look great bro, real practical designs with nice clean lines....good stuff !!!!

Thanks for the kind words, guys! I really like this 1075, I made a bunch of knives for the guys I work with out of it and they've been pretty happy with them. I'm hoping to order some more sometime this month, though I've still got some 1095 and 5160 to work with.

probably won't last long.

Man! I like em both Walt! Your knives have come a long way in a short time! Fellas, Walt gave me one of his earlier knives to test out and tell him what I thought a while ago....it is an excellent knife with great edge geometry/holding/ease of sharpening and has a very comfortable handle. His acid etches are bad ass! I'm glad to see your work up here Walter! I'll bet these put it to shame!

Thanks, Paul, I've actually got another trailing point that I'm going to finish up today or tomorrow, like yours only double the size:eek::thumbup:

And again, thanks all for the good words and the sales! It's nice to know these appeal to people other than just myself:o:thumbup:
